Recently I was shopping with my adult daughter (yarn, squee! but that's another blog all together) in downtown Bakersfield. While stopped at a signal she commented on the Padre Hotel, a local landmark recently renovated. My comment? "Yeah, it's gone, too." Read the rest of this entry »
